Ballpark District Community Partnership

The Ballpark District Community Partnership is a nonprofit organization created to manage services within a new 22-block subdistrict of the Downtown San Diego Partnership’s Property and Business Improvement District. This subdistrict represents a collaborative effort with the Downtown Partnership to enhance and tailor services such as cleanliness, safety, and placemaking to meet the unique needs of the Ballpark District’s residents, businesses, and property owners.

The Cleanup Crew

The Cleanup Crew is our dedicated maintenance, landscaping and sidewalk pressure washing crew for the Ballpark District.

The Team:

  • Works seven days per week, year-round
  • Cleans and monitors the district sidewalks
  • Conducts daily services along scheduled routes
  • Includes an additional “flex” team that provides services for extraordinary conditions such as dumped items or overturned trash receptacles

Cleanup Crew Power Washing Schedule

The map below is a rotational power washing schedule and will be completed on a six week basis.

The Ballpark District deploys the Cleanup Crew to respond to community requests, safety concerns, and general inquiries from the public. This team operates seven days a week. The Ballpark District Community Partnership also dispatches an overnight security patrol to respond to service and safety requests from the community.

District Services

The Ballpark District deploys a patrol to respond to community requests, safety concerns, and general inquiries from the public. This hospitality team operates from 1:30-10 p.m., seven days a week.

*Clean & Safe continues provide services for the other districts and Downtown neighborhoods in their service area. Homelessness outreach and family reunification efforts, led by the Downtown San Diego Partnership, are continueing uninterrupted including within the Ballpark District.

Beautification

Ornamental landscaping is utilized to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Ballpark District through the deployment and installation of decorative landscaping amenities, arrangements, and features. The Cleanup Crew is working to establish a regular service schedule to maintain and expand enhanced landscaping projects in the new Ballpark District.

The Ballpark District Community Partnership assumes responsibility for establishing response standards for security incidents in the area. The team is committed to maintaining exceptional service quality and addressing issues promptly.
